I am so excited to finally announce this amazing project for the new year, 2022. The 40 over 40 Project is about empowering women in their 40's, 50's, 60's and beyond. This is an incredible opportunity for celebration. A celebration of achievement, health, life, and especially the privilege of aging beautifully. Let's change the way we define it. This demographic of women are hardly ever photographed. We put everyone else's needs before our own. We have conditioned ourselves to not feel worthy of being photographed; feeding ourselves negative self-talk about all of our insecurities. It is time for you to be seen, celebrated, and feel empowered. It is time to give yourself some grace and gratitude for the amazing life you are living.

I will be photographing 40 women

over the age of 40, so space is limited. Come experience the magic of your confidence.

As a woman in my 40's I have doubted myself in many areas of my life. I've sat and talked with other women and the conversation is sometimes filled with negative self-talk, insecurities, and poor beliefs of their self-worth. I've been there. But, I am here to tell you it's time to find your self-love. Celebrate the achievements you have made and be proud of the woman you have become. . Set an example to the younger generation females to stop the beliefs that they shouldn't be anything but proud and confident in whom they grow to be.

It is time to celebrate life in your 40's, 50's, 60's and beyond. The world has a lot to learn from this demographic of amazing women. We have all experienced successes, failures, and struggles. Take advantage of this opportunity to embrace, celebrate, be pampered, and feel gorgeous in your photo portraits just for you! Also, we will support community in supporting an amazing organization!

why this project?

The Community Crisis Center of Northeast Oklahomas main office is out of Miami, Oklahoma, and has advocate satellite offices in Grove, Ok., Jay, Ok. and Vinita, Ok. The victims shelter opened in Miami, Ok. in 1982 and has been giving thousands of families safety, food, clothing, and support in a multitude of ways. Today the 18-bed shelter is filled to capacity daily. Northeast Oklahoma is fortunate to have such an organization available to victims of emotional or violent abuse, sexual abuse, and even stalking. The organization provides not only a shelter but provides crisis response advocates, counseling services, legal assistance, housing, and more. The Community Crisis Center of NE Oklahoma provides many helpful services that many NE Oklahomas are unaware of. It is my pleasure to work with this organization to help provide and share information with the public to raise awareness and help provide charitable support.

In recognition and support, I will give a $50 donation for every session booked within the 40 over 40 project. That is a $2,000 donation to the Community Crisis Center of NE Oklahoma!

Those who participate in this special project will receive a special invitation to the gallery-style exhibition event at Shangri-la in Afton, Ok. in August 2022. At the event, we will celebrate and recognize all participants of the project as well as have a silent auction providing additional benefit to the Community Crisis Center of NE Oklahoma.

To participate in this event you must be 40 years of age or older and willing to have your photos and potential video shared publicly. You must also be ok being interviewed (2-4 short questions) and give permission to have your interview shown publicly.
